And this year, the results, obtained by Madden NFL 10, the latest stats and a secret procedure EA is not revealing, are favoring the New Orleans Saints, the champions of the NFC, which are set to take down the Indiana Colts, the representatives of the AFC, by 35 to 31.

It’s one of the closest games that the publisher has simulated and most of the specialized betting services are saying that the game will be going to the Colts when Sunday comes.

Electronic Arts predicted Super Bowl XLIII pretty well, with the initial Pittsburgh domination, then giving way to a comeback on the part of the Cardinals who ultimately failed to dislodge the advantage of the Steelers, who took home the trophy. Madden NFL has managed to predict the winners of five of the last six Super Bowl matches and Electronic Arts is saying that both Championship matches, for the AFC and the NFC, were accurately called for this season.

The Madden NFL 10 simulation is stating that as the fourth quarter starts, the Indiana Colts are set to have a lead of 24 to 21. Reggie Bush of the Saints starts by returning a punt for a touchdown and the Colts respond with a collaborative effort between Peyton Manning and Joseph Addai.

The game clincher comes from Drew Brees, who also goes on to win the Most Valuable Player of the XLIV Super Bowl. It would be the first time in the 40+ history of the New Orleans Saints when they pick up the Super Bowl trophy. It will be fascinating to see whether the real results on Sunday will match the Electronic Arts simulation.

Wayne and Clark are getting some attention from the betting public, with 11% of the overall volume on Wayne and 9% on tight end Clark.

The Saints also have a digit of weapons on offense, whether by land or by air; they led the league in points scored during the regular season.

S Darren Sharper (+2800) was a force in the Saints’ secondary with 15 passes defensed and nine INTs.

LB Jonathan Vilma and safety Roman Harper (both +9000) were one and two in team tackles with 110 and 102 respectively.

While Brees is the huge gun on this squad, and is attracting most of the money for Saints players, Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend Reggie Bush has been grabbing a few bucks from the bettors as well. In fact, for someone who has been largely a complimentary player all season, he is currently meeting with 11% of the overall volume bet on the MVP prop.

Drew Brees believes that New Orleans Saints are perfectly deserve for this Super Bowl Ring after their glorious performance in the 2009 NFL regular season.

The yellow-gold ring holds a total of 44 diamonds, which indicates the 44th Super Bowl and the top of the ring  features a felur-de-lis, the symbol of both the team and New Orleans.

On one side of the ring, it have carved image of the triple-spired St. Louis Cathedral, the Louisiana Superdome, a scene from the Saints’ championship parade and the first few musical notes of “When the Saints Go Marching In.” On the other side of the ring, it displays the final score of the title match, date and location of the first Super Bowl in which the 44-year-ancient franchise played.
